Hey, Reader! β Staying ahead of the game means finding ways to work smarter, not harder. That’s why I want to share the tools that have become the backbone of my marketing campaigns. I hope that you find something in this list of tools to help you level up a skill, grow a business and brand, or create killer marketing campaigns. Better yet, just to update some of the existing tools you have to give new technology a try. β π¨ Design and Graphic Toolsβ βCanva: The ultimate “do-it-yourself” graphic design platform and a marketer’s secret weapon. User-friendly templates for everything from social media posts to presentations, all easily customizable. βUnsplash: Beautiful, free stock photography (that doesn’t look stock-y) to give your visuals extra polish. βAdobe Firefly: Use AI and text prompts to create beautiful images and text effects (also free). β π Email and Newslettersβ βConvertKit: My go-to for nurturing audiences (and the very one you are reading!). Their segmentation and automation capabilities let you send the right message, to the right people, at the right time. βSubstack: Writers and publishers can share their work via email newsletters and make money from paid subscriptions. β βοΈ Copywriting and Editingβ βHemingway: Keeps your writing clear and concise β a must for today’s short attention spans. βGrammarly: An AI-powered writing assistant to catch those pesky grammar mistakes. βCoSchedule Headline Studio: This will help punch up your subject lines and get those emails opened and blogs that get clicked on! β π€ Marketing Researchβ βAnswerThePublic: Want to know what people are REALLY searching for? This pulls autocomplete searches to help you nail the topics your audience cares about. βQuora: A great way to tap into the real questions your audience is asking β use those as inspiration for your content. β π SEOβ βSurfer: Use Surfer to write articles that read well and rank high on search results. Imagine writing content with an AI tool that not only creates great articles but also generates traffic to your website. All at the click of a button and is ready within 20 minutes. My favorite part of Surfer is the content editor. As I write the article, the content editor makes suggestions in real-time, such as headings and target keywords relative to my competitors. There is a content scoring system to let me know how effective the article is in terms of ranking for the keywords I need. And once Iβm done, I can even publish it straight to my website through Surferβs WordPress integration. But if you are short on time, you can generate a full-blown article that’s already optimized with Surfer’s guidelines. You can give Surfer a try for yourself with a 7-day free trial, it comes with 5 content editor credits, keyword search, and Surfer AI credit. Just click the link below to give it a try risk-free. Also thanks to Surfer for being this week’s newsletter sponsor!
β π» Automation and Project Managementβ βZapier: If you can dream up an automated task, Zapier can probably do it. Connect different tools and eliminate those repetitive manual jobs. Make automation your friend and you can save hours. βNotion: It’s my ultimate project organizer β docs, task lists, content creation, progress tracking, all in one place. β This is a growing list and I will be sending out updated ones regularly. I encourage you to explore, try things out, and streamline with these tools. Let me know what your favorite marketing tools are by replying to this email.
