Hey, Reader! In today’s world, to land your dream job, attract top clients, or become the go-to authority in your field, building a powerful LinkedIn presence can make it happen. But getting seen on the platform and reaching the right people isn’t always easy. Most people try to hack, beat, or complain about the LinkedIn algorithm, eventually get frustrated and just give up. I’ve been studying the top creators on LinkedIn and recently just been named LinkedIn’s Top Voice (an invitation-only group awarded to a handful of experts on LinkedIn amongst their billion members), and today I want to share with you what I learned so far. 7 profitable LinkedIn strategies almost nobody makes use of:1. Personalize your LinkedIn URLLinkedin.com/janedoe12356789 isn’t a great URL to remember or find. Claim your own name URL (internet real estate as I like to call it) in the “public profile & URL” section in the settings. Bonus benefit of a SEO boost when people Google your name! 2.Creator mode helps you get foundYou don’t have to be a content creator to use the creator mode, but it definitely helps if you can publish content on a regular basis that works for you. Research found that creator mode can lead to 38x more likely to have your content seen in front of your audience. 3. Use CTA to link to your next stepsLinkedIn allows one link in your bio, make sure to use it as a CTA to send your audience to the next step after meeting you. Email newsletter, booking a discovery call, downloading a free resource all works really well.
4. Make your experience section media richYou can add more than just text to your experience section. Consider adding photos, videos, slide decks that you’ve worked on to this section to provide more color and context to what you do. Think of it like a digital CV that comes alive once potential employer or client is looking for you.
5. Your about me section isn’t about youLeverage the “About” section to talk about the transformation you have created for previous clients and projects. Instead of just talking about your experience, show rather than tell. 6. Don’t let your connections collect dustLinkedIn connections are meant to be nurtured. Once you are connected, consider sending a voice note (mobile app only) to stand out and create authentic relationships over time. 7. Carousels and images for the winCreating eye catching carousels and images that tell a story are two fantastic content formats that work well on LinkedIn. You can create the PDF in Canva and then upload as a document to build your following.

When you fascinate them, they become intensely focused and you can build a valuable connection.”
